There’s no greater joy than helping others succeed.
I’ve always had a passion for creating, planning, designing, leading, and coaching. My late husband and I ran a business for 20 years, raised 4 children, coached sports, mentored teenagers, and led employees. Our heart & soul went into creating our life and it was a labor of love. Our lives were tightly intertwined, so when he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, our happy little world came crashing down.
After the loss of my beloved husband, I was lost, underpaid, and miserable, feeling trapped in what seemed like a hopeless situation. I spent hours journaling my story on Facebook. My friends and family encouraged me to document and share my writings with the world. I decided to start a blog to connect and support other grieving widows. Then, inspired by my love for leadership (and Pinterest), I took my gift of connection, my passion for mentoring & leadership, and married it with my love of pinning to establish a consulting business, earn an income online, and pursue my dream life. It took me a long time to figure out how to do it while managing daily life simultaneously.
Life is better when you are doing what you love.
The purpose of my blog has shifted over the years
…but that is a natural part of the process of finding your niche. Allowing your blog and content to evolve can be beneficial. You can achieve a life you love by remaining committed to your goals, putting in the work, and trusting the process.
